Once Upon a Time

      Once upon a time, as all fairy tales begin,  I loved a beautiful man and he loved me and my three handsome sons.  We spent fifteen years together filled with poetry, bliss, tending the cattle and horses, teaching, and then illness came and he passed away.  But before he died, he told me that I would be able to make a life for myself on this land we had purchased just months before his illness.  He had faith that I would be strong enough to survive, so this is the beginning of my journey out of the darkness.
